Visit to Germany with HMOP

The Honourable Minister of Power, Engr Abubakar Aliyu, FNSE, and MD/CEO of FGN Power Company, Mr. Kenny Anuwe met with the President/CEO of Siemens Energy in Berlin, Germany.

The meeting reviewed the progress of the Presidential Power Initiative (PPI) followed by discussions on the need to fast track the delivery of Ten (10) Mobile Substations and Mobile Transformers ordered by the Nigerian Government to upgrade and rehabilitate the grid distribution and transmission networks, which ultimately will improve and stabilize electricity across Nigeria.

Other members of the delegation include the Head Project Management Office (PMO) at FGN Power Company, Engr Balarabe Sheshu, FNSE, and Chief Technical Officer of FGN Power Company, Engr Idowu Oyebanjo, FNSE, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Power.
