Close-out of Pre-Engineering of Distribution Systems

FGN Power Company held a two (2) day workshop from April 26th – 27th, 2022 to officially conclude Pre-Engineering activities for the PPI distribution work package. The Honorable Minister of Power, Engr. Abubakar Aliyu, FNSE was represented by the Permanent Secretary for Power Mr Nebeolisa Anako.

In 2021, the Federal Government approved a Pre-engineering contract with Siemens to fast track the delivery of the Presidential Power Initiative.

The objective of the arrangements was to ensure a seamless and standardized delivery by the preparation of functional requirements, specifications, and codes that apply to the implementation modalities.
